  Pies (tried three - lamb, steak and mushroom and beef) were awesome, eventhough we came just before closing. Coffee was surprisingly good too. Lemon tart was fresh and really good. So a very positive experience

  Friendly staff, good views. We had the hotcakes and a couple of steak & mushroom pies. Great bakery pies and the hotcakes were exceptional. Coffee was pretty decent and the kids loved their babycinos. We were initially just going to grab and go, but decided to eat in. Normal prices for what you'd pay in Perth. It was a pretty wet day and inside felt snug and comforting. Will be back next time we're in Augusta.

  $5.50 for an average to poor coffee. I only wanted a small coffee but only large size offered, served with poor quality soy milk that tasted sour

  Staff that don't appear to want to be there set the mood. New owners haven't got the same passion for great food as the last owners. However it is still a good and popular bakery.

  The pies are exceptional whereas the bread and other options such as soup of the day are standard, unremarkable fare.
